Dear docter,

I am the mum of an 14 year old boy who had a stroke 6 years ago. He can walk with a limp, but his rite hands, arm and fingers are paralysed. The strtoke as you can see was on his right side. My Mother found out about you and called to tell me there might be hope for my son after all.

The docters tell me John will be permantly paralysed with that arm, shoulder and hands and fingers. He wears a hand splint at night to stop his fingers clawing.

I have referred your name from http://www.rustywithoutwheels.com ; my wife Mrs.Kanyakumari, aged 38 years has been suffering from ‘Optic Atrophy’ for the last 20 years. She has already lost vision from her right eye due to severe attack on three to four times, especially when she gave birth of a female child in 2001. Recently i.e 1st November, 2007 again she was attacked at her left eye and as per the MRI scan of brain and orbits (without contrast) reports; her left optic nerve represented with “Acute Demyelination (LEFT OPTIC NEURITIS) and her right optic nerve represented with ‘Mild Thinning’. She was undergone with IV steroid treatment of 3gms dosage and gradually she retained 80% of her left eye vision. But she again suffered with ‘Bilateral Optic Neuritis recently and again hospitalized for four days with the same IV Steroid treatment of 3 gms. Dosage, but this time there is no improvement in her eye vision. I am very much worried about her condition. I hereby am attaching her latest MRI report for your ready reference. I would like to know if there is something that can cure that like umbilical cord stem cell treatment for optic atrophy ,then I would let her know about you. Your earliest response in this regard would be highly appreciated.
